To trace Dave Slatten's racing career, you'd have to cover four decades. Between 1966 and 1978, Dave raced in the Division 5 area, setting speed records and winning National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) events and track championships.

"I hope to develop new alternative-fueled engines and electronic injection systems to gain more power and consistency."

Between 1984 and 1990, Dave raced dirt bikes in motocross and supercross. Then, in 1991, he returned to the drag strip. And he's just as hungry for victory as ever.

The goal of this 57-year old driver is to, "pursue and win divisional and national events and to become a national champion."
