E85 is Perfect for FUN CUP Endurance Racing

The Fun Cup series racing that became so popular Europe is finally here in the U.S. And, it's being powered by E85 ethanol. Fun Cup series racing debuted in Belgium several years ago, then progressed through Europe to England in 2002. The multiple-driver endurance circuit racing that enjoys such popularity overseas came to the US in 2006.

Part of Fun Cup series racing that makes it so popular is the high-speed excitement and exhilarating competition. Using E85 ethanol gives the Fun Cup drivers more power, excellent acceleration and performance while running cooler to protect their engines. The Fun Cup series is dedicated to using E85 ethanol in all of its cars. E85 ethanol provides benefits not only the racers, but also to the environment and the economy.

"It may sound corny, but I was on the plane from England to America to setup the Fun Cup series and thought, I am going to set up a racing series that's going to use a great deal of fuel. I can make the decision that will make a real difference now and impact the environment and the economy in good way if I choose to use ethanol, "said Greg Clough, president, Fun Cup Series Racing. "I knew other racing series were using ethanol successfully so the decision was made. And, I believe it was the right decision."
